"Othello's bedroom is located approximately 200 metres underground. It exists under high pressure. The air in the room is compressed and contaminated.
"Strangely enough, his wife Desdemona is living there carefree. But everything is getting unbearable for Othello. The contaminated air consists of the unpleasant parts of Othello's character and mind such as jealousy, hatred for being discriminated against, curses from the people that he killed in his many battles and his desires. Such unwilling will and knotted soul are whirling around and materializing here and there in the room. Despite him saying to himself 'in reality it's air', Othello became aware when he decided to kill his wife.
"'This room is in my brain. I cannot get out of it. The walls of the room are my black skin. They act as a mirror for my entire soul, keeping it trapped, and reflecting back into the room. The walls intensify this...' The whirling of his malice and crooked love is unbearable loud for him. 'Desdemona doesn't care about the noise and sleeps... Did I kill her already?'
"There is neither life nor death because this room exists in the brain of Othello whose head is buried approximately 200 metres underground, with repent and fear awakened anew.
"The noise opera 'Othello' (after Shakespeare) is a new interpretation of the famous murder scene, accompanied with noise music of Japanese group 'Autrement Qu'être'." (From promotional materials. See here and here.)
